I have a soft spot for this place. I’ve been going for six years- since I first moved to Austin to do my undergrad at UT. It was my introduction to Korean food and had me hooked from the beginning. Ive now been to many Korean spots in Austin and beyond since my first time and this is still my favorite place to get tteokbokki. I also recommend the spicy chicken bowl, gimbap, and lunch boxes as quick meals in between classes or during late night study sessions. The teas are usually a hit or miss but they are definitely a great value and I’ll admit they’ve been getting better. It’s been a great place to get lunch with friends and I hope it continues to be a staple on guad.

just went here for lunch the other day for the first time and it went by super smoothly! it was still a bit early for lunch so it was completely empty when i went in. i ordered using a kiosk and waited only a few minutes until i got my meal, which was the lunch box with spicy chicken! it was the perfect amount of food ^_^ the interior was cute and the workers were very nice but the space inside is a bit small… overall a great experience though!

Disappointed! They forgot to add the noodles to my Dduk Boki! I asked for less spicy and it was really hot & spicy! Asked for less ice to my boba but they didn’t add ice at all! 😭

I’ve been to this place before and had something else that was okay. This time I got the beef bulgogi bowl and it’s not like the picture at all. Hardly any veggies, maybe 4 small pieces of white cabbage and that’s it. Mostly rice, hardly any rice noodles. I wanted to like this place due to its proximity to campus, but unfortunately it’s a No for me! If you like dishes with generous veggies and matched advertisement perhaps look elsewhere!

Delicious fast casual Korean great for lunch or early dinner. Quick and easy to order at the kiosk. Staff was super friendly and helpful if have any questions. There’s not a lot of seating so it can get crowded during lunch rush. There are a few tables outside or you can take it to go. No idea where you’d park, but most people are walking from campus anyway.
